“Finally figured out how my tortoise was getting into the house all by himself!”
Being Canadian is amazing because you get to watch everyone else not comprehend the utter size of moose
I like how the pumpkin at the base of the mailbox looks like it’s watching this attack and screaming in horror.
So the first time I saw this, I thought the moose was really short with a weirdly big head, because it was the height of the mailbox. I’ve now realized it’s kneeling and am once again afraid of just how /big/ moose are.
It took some time for my brain to parse the antlers, and until then, I thought this was a bear.
Jesus, look at the size of that thing. Bloody hell. His pumpkin now.
You’ve been visited by the Halloween moose. May god have mercy on your soul.

this turtle tongue is bright pink, shaped exactly like a worm, and wriggles most convincingly. and for an awful lot of small fish, the last thing they ever see is that delicious looking worm squirming enticingly under a rocky overhanging, just out of reach…
“Proud Crocodile Father Gives Piggyback Ride to Over 100 of His Children”
“Mukherjee’s photograph shows a male gharial giving a ride to more than 100 of his babies. The photo was recently named on the highly commended list of the prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year contest run by London’s Natural History Museum. Mukherjee’s ability to capture this special moment is made all the more intriguing when one considers that the gharial is a critically endangered species…”
